An Honored Athlete of Mongolia, Seven Summiteer B.Gangaamaa climbed and raised Mongolian National flag on K2 summit, the second highest mountain in the world, on 31 July, 2018. Mountaineer B.Gangaamaa ascended K2 together with 31 mountaineers, recorded as the most number of mountaineers that climbed at the same time. 336 mountaineers have summited K2 Mountain for over 60 years since 1954 in total.

B.Gangaamaa climbed the K2 summit before, in August 2013. She climbed along with the mountaineers from Greece, New Zealand, Australia, Switzerland and Nepal and the climbing took two months. At that time 67 climbers started the climb, but only seven reached the peak. 22 alpinists lost their lives during the climb. The K2, elevated at 8611 meters above sea level  has been called the 'killer' mountain it has the second-highest fatality rate among the eight-thousanders.

In 2011 B.Gangaamaa became the first Mongolian woman to conquer the Mount Everest. The Seven Summits achievement of B.Gangaamaa are:
